UPDATE: Sunday, 9/18/2016, 6:02 PM CT

GP.org, the official website of the Green Party US, has been hacked.

GreenPartyRadio.com noticed earlier today that some of the pages on GP.org were missing. When we contacted Starlene Rankin, Green Party Media Coordinator, she told us "Yeah, we were hacked. Bunch of pages need to be restored through backup copies. It should be back soon."

Within the hour, GP.org Web Manager David Doonan told GreenPartyRadio.com "Our web site suffered an intrusion yesterday, resulting in the loss of much of our content. Some, but not all of the content has been restored." David offered no information on who the hacker might have been.

This hack-job was completely dissimilar to the situation with WikiLeaks and Julian Assange releasing pertinent information about the Democratic National Committee - in this case, all the hackers did was to remove information from the Green Party US website.

I still maintain that it's a good sign that the 2-party system's people in power are getting scared of the Green Party when they resort to hacking their website.

GreenPartyRadio.com will have more details as soon as they become available.
